Ceri might have to ask Paul how many holes there are... John knew but he's gone.
Maybe Eric knows.
Personally, I'll bet that HRH The Queen knows but won't fess up as long as Charles stands a chance of being her successor.
A quick scout with a tiny mirror on a stick and It'll be as good as new Doc, If you could just bite down on this, I'm just popping out to the forum " we need more amalgam nurse, more I say more"

Can't argue that, but ORCRiST's Dave Murray 'Aces High" Supermarine Stratocaster is just one beautiful instrument. Ranks up there with the Custom Shop Masterbuilts IMHO.

Easy, because in the biting action the upper part of the mouth doesn't move. Only the jaw bone moves when you bite. In effect you bite up, not down.

Good to see this back on Page 1 where it belongs. There's so much quality content in this thread. Ceri's two bridge installation for example is depicted and explained way better than any I've come across (trust me, I've looked at lot of builds. )

Such a cool thread. 8)

When one chooses to fashion jigs to produce a mechanical result then you have a true master at work. My hats off to Ceri......

Wow! I just started this thread yesterday and was absolutely enthralled! I spent hours following along reading about this special build. This is the coolest project I've ever seen. I am probably the "anti-handyman", but as I was reading the thread, I kept getting urges to go out, find an old strat body and fix it up.

Ceri, your project is inspirational! Incredible craftsmanship! You da man!

I'm not sure if I've seen anything comparable in depth, kindness and craftsmanship as this thread here.

Great, Ceri.

This thread should go into a hall of fame or something.

Cheers

David

Ryan - Ceri's thread had the same effect on me and I ended up doing a build as a result. I never would have tried without his very instructional style.

Hi Kong!

Nice job...it looks killer! Now, I've really got the urge to get me an old body and get to work!
