Kong I asked that question myself a week or so ago. Never got a reply.

Funny thing is I got a song written for Ceri that he may find funny/poignant. If he were agreeable I'd like him to record the lead on that guitar and the drums too. All depends on me finding a singer.

Oops - how rude of me. Sorry!

I think it plays - good. :D

Must admit, never been interested in active electronics in guitars before, but I do like these EMG SAs. I get why Gilmour thinks they don't quite do the classic Straty thing - but that's OK. We have other guitars for that. These pickups give a smooth, big sound and it is floating my boat.

Far as the neck is concerned, well naturally you'd expect me to say that it is perfection. So I will. Still, I'm wondering about just sanding a fraction more off the "shoulders" at the back. Maybe, maybe not? A bit more playing time will help decide.

You can do that kinda thing with guitars! :D

Cheers - C

PS Why is this thread now offering a page 96 - which it then tells you does not exist? Strange...

Beautiful work. So what's next on the horizon? My vote is for a hollow body, maybe like a Strat Thinline!

Yep Mike!! Thanks to Nutter's work in making a thread with all the builds on it we all can go back from time to time and revisit some great builds!! Some of you newer members ought to check it out. It will answer a lot of your question about all things guitar!!

Ha! Welcome back, old thread! And thank you kindly for the bump and the nice remarks, telemaster000 - and ABS and everyone. :D (I like the sound of those menus...)

133,000+ hits. Madness!

And for anyone who very reasonably doesn't want to wade through 96 pages of this nonsense, page 91 is where to look if you want to cut to the chase...

Cheers y'all - C

I agree with Doc - - a small soundclip would be a great final outro for ALL of the build threads...even if it's something done with Windoze Sound Recorder. :D

Soundclips would really be GREAT - to hear what the finished projects sound like. :D
