This is certainly a remarkable thread.

Ceri, you definitely know your guitars both inside and out! :D The photography and comments are really making this a nice learning experience for everyone!

Of all the threads on this forum this one has to rank right at the top for quality. Ceri is an artist and a craftsman.

All sorts of fun to watch you work Ceri. I'd love to be out there with you but alas the air fare is prohibitive.

As always, thank you all for your nice remarks. Very encouraging! :D

BTW, Trauma: I saw your previous post before you edited it. I was going to say; probably just as wacky, but hopefully in a slightly different way? Only you and I know what we're talking about...

See you tomorrow all - C

Great work Ceri. As always, I am amazed at your ability to find a solution to the problems you encounter. In my book you are a genius. Deny all you want but that is how it is. Continue to keep us updated my friend.

Well he'd certainly make one helluv'an orthopedic or plastic surgeon, or a superb Sweeny Todd, if he could get the wife to do the baking. In any event, I expect that his way with the wood is far safer, apart from the technology employed.

You mate, just continue to keep yourself warm in like fashion, sending the wretched refuse thereof to Ceri, for our continued edification and amazement.

Doc

Ceri, is this a veneered body?

If so, can you tell how many pieces are under the veneer?
