I have been obsessed with a white Jimmie Vaughan Strat for the past few months and finally ordered one. My local GC didn't have a great selection of strats and every one I could try had a "modern C" shaped neck that didn't feel right to me (How can such a large guitar store not carry a huge selection of arguably one of the most popular guitars of all time). I also don't have enough experience to really know the difference or be set on any one specific profile. I don't care for white on white and couldn't stand the thought of a warped pickguard so I ordered a shell p.g. also. Now the wait...and the search for the matching amp.

Good choice! I fell for an Olympic White JV while I was testing Roadworn Strats. The soft V neck was one of its main selling points. So were the Tex-Mex pickups and tone control for the bridge pickup. Oh, and it wasn't heavily reliced.
