Okay this is what's going on I bought a new Yngwie guitar and it has a bad case of stratitis. I have lowered my pickups all the way to the pick guard to minimize the warbling on the G/D/A/E string from the 12 fret and higher. Now the output is so low you can't hear it.

So what I'm thinking about doing is replacing the pickups with Dimarzio Heavy Blues 2's. I've been told the sound similar to the YJM and HS-3 with more output and less magnetic pull. Has anyone else had this issue and replaced the pickups? if so with what? I would like keep the sound as close as possible to the YJM and HS-3. My style is rock/hard rock/metal type

I would appreciate any advise and ideas.
