Wow! That's an awesome guitar! I've been looking at those ever since Fender's new website design put the spotlight on them. I want one so bad! It's definitely my next guitar! Congratulations for owning one!

That is one very, very, sweet looking Sienna Strat. If the guitar store in my town had one that looked like that I would have to buy it.

Move your cursor over the pic you want to include in your message when you're in Photobucket's album view. 4 more data fields should appear under your picture. You want to copy the info in the IMG Code box and paste it here.

Looking forward to seeing your Sienna Sunburst. :)

John

Beautiful guitar. Is it a two piece ash or one piece?

Went to a club and saw a guy playing a sienna sunburst strat.I am pretty sure it was a Texas Special strat as it had a white pearloid pickgard and tremolo cover.I have a chrome silver TS and it also has a pearloid pickgard.I have to say upon further review the ones with the pearloid pickgards are outstanding guitars to look at.This one had a maple neck and it was hard for me to leave at the end of the nite.LOL .If ever I come across one , i might snap it up.

Yours appears to be quarter sawn where mine is plain sawn. Congratulations on your new Fender!

Hey Timu - looking at the message you posted with the photobucket photo above that didn't display correctly, I highlighted the photo location you provided and placed it here:

The AmStd Sienna Sunburst with the rosewood fingerboard will surely be my next guitar sometime in 2010.
But, I'm confused. I thought the siennas were made of alder like all common strats. You say that is ash?

Here says alder...

Do ash guitars produce brighter tones? In that case I would probably had second thoughts about the Sienna.

Check out this link from Fender
http://www.fender.com/products/search.p ... 0110400747

Read the specs. All colors on Alder except the Seinna that uses Ash. As for ash being brighter, I can't comment on that. I only have the one Fender. It does cost an extra $100.

Thanks pbassbob and gldfshkpr for getting my picture on board. I love it so much! I'm playing through a Peavey Vyper 30 and putting it on the fender twin or deluxe amp she sounds so awsome. Even when I play her on the plexi amp sounds excellent. I don't know about the quarter sawn or full swan? Could someone explain? What it the difference? Just looks? Thanks.
