Strat pickups in a danelectro

I want to put strat pickups in my Danelectro 56-U2. Its a late 90's model. Can anybody tell me if the pickups are the same size and will be able to be put in the Danelectro?

I did this as a lark years many years ago with a real 1963 model. I had to devise and make 'extender wings' for the Strat pickups as the Danelectro mounts were significantly wider on either side. FWIW, the Strat pickups did not sound good at all and the polepiece spacing of the Fender pickups were too wide for the Danelectro's string spacing.

Do the mounting screw holes line up though?

As I've stated above, no, they are way too short.
