Try out a Peavey Vypyr (15, 30, 75, 100, 120 watt).

Unbelievable settings, tones, presets, amp selections, effects, and on board pedals.
You can store your own settings, add delay, chorus and reverb to settings. It has a loop setting also.

I have Fender, Line 6 amps which are fine however, I am limited in some areas with those. I bought this amp to get better "clean" tones that draw the pickups out. I am not an expert on amps or effects but for 200.00 (30 Watt) you will be impressed.

See demos on youtube

Sounds like you need to go and play a bunch of amps in your price range.

How about the new Marshall v5? Any reviews on this amp. I'm thinking of getting one.

Yes, the 75 Watt with the saprana will surprise you. The 30 amp is alot more than I need and will wake half of Brooklyn literally...

There are so many options with this amp and allows me to curtail my sound. The clean tones with my Strat are great. The 75 Watt has the power sponge that really strengthens the amplification similiar to the big name amps.

Good luck with the amp you choose.
