Olympic White, Seafoam Green, Surf Green, Daphne Blue. All with Maple fretboards.

On a loosely related topic, does anyone dislike the pearl pickgaurds other than me? I think they're tacky, and a guitar is almost automatically unattractive to me if it has one. Wondering if I'm alone on that one...

You know what, my feeling is that you are right on a vintage instrument. However if the instrument is not vintage and the perloid pickguard is chosen to match the guitar color it can be really nice.

Here's a link to a page with various interesting color combinations. There's an example of metallic blue with black perloid further down on this page that I don't particularly like.

I feel ya on that one dan. It can be OK sometimes. But I prefer the look of vintage/vintage style instruments. So I suppose I just walk on by most modern style instruments when it comes to looks at least.

Really hard to pick. I'll try to keep it to five.

Any sunburst with a black edge, maple or rosewood.

Mary Kay white, maple

Surf Green, rosewood

Shoreline Gold, maple

Blue Agave, maple--As far as I know, this color was only used on the MIM Strats, and only for a few years. I bought a body in this color on eBay, put a birdseye maple neck on it, and really love the way it looks.

I'm also a big fan of pearloid pickguards. I've got them on all of my Strats except for my black Squier. Mint green pearl on my sunburst, white pearl on my green strat, and parchment pearl on my blue one.

I believe my next project will be Candy Cola if I can find a body in that color.

Yeah, this is my favourite, also.

Graffiti Yellow would be second, and Chrome Red third. 8)
