Back when Fender introduced the Rosewood Teles they made 2 Rosewood Strat prototypes apparently only one is accounted for but it is incredibly beautiful, they should seriously consider producing it,it would be a surefire best seller.

Up until recently it would have been Tobacco Sunburst but now it has to be Candy Apple Red with Rosewood Fret.[/img]

With just a few exceptions, my fave colour on a Strat is usually the last Strat I looked at..

I do have a dream though of a Strat in (Gibson) Pelham Blue..

This thread seems familiar - is it duplicated elsewhere? I feel sure I've written this post before..

I've yet to own a strat, but I'm thinking that my first one will be pale sky blue...

However, that could easily change.

Burgandy mist is great. I saw a late 60s jag in Burgandhy mist that was to die for.

I like silvers too. And pewter and blacks with black pickguard and knobs. Midnight wine, candy cola and translucent red are awesome too. I really love the Charvel colors too.

- Surf green

- Sonic blue ( i also like the blue of the 2007 highway one ( discontinued ).

- Arctic white

- blizzard pearl

- shoreline gold

all with maple neck ( no rosewood .. i dont like rosewood stratocaster . only maple fingerboard ) .

my less favorite is curiously sienna sunburst or 3 tone sunburst ... ive never like that color .

my dream guitar would be a fender surf green /maple with duncan jeff beck humbucker .

or i would have like fender to make HSS highway one with maple fingerboard ... theyre all rosewood :(

right now i have a hss strat maple but its black ... i like it tho :):)

The white Strat that Hendrix played in Woodstock has always attracted me. The Olympic white, maple neck and w/b/w pickguard was like an religious icon to me. I thought that would be the Strat that I would end up until I saw the American Deluxe in Vintage White. The color is creamy like an aged white Strat. The pickguard is an exquisite pearloid/w/b/w and she's topped off with a silver embossed Fender logo on the headstock. It was just too sexy to pass up so I got that instead.

I've always liked the 3-tone sunburst best.

Other favorites: Candy Apple Red, Shoreline Gold, Inca Silver
