Burgundy Mist or Sunburst.

But I like most of the colors that have appeared on a Fender (My Mustang is a sunburst.)

If the wood grain looks good--then sunburst, maybe natural, if it's plain, then I'd pick burgundy mist.

Although I once played a silver one and was thinking how I could pay for it.

My Strat is transparent crimson with a rosewood neck and mint green pickguard. My Tele is transparent antique white, white pickguard and maple neck. Neither one is really fancy but I really like the looks of both of them.

Surf Green is just a classy look and Blue burst is amazing though you dont see it often and Olympic white with a Rose wood board and I could go on all day.

personally, I am a fan of black (even though it is a shade). It's more metal-ish.

What guitar is this?
It's an American Deluxe that has been refinished.

Sonic blue with rosewood and white guard; olympic white with rosewood and either a mint green or parchment guard; surf green with either rosewood or maple and a white guard.

Ummm, but then the sienna sunburst and single-ply guard looks good too!!!

I always liked the 3 tone sunburst strats and ended up buying a 2 tone MIM sunburst as my first guitar, mainly due to cost. But, about a year later I saw a Sienna Sunburst MIA strat and immediately knew I had to have one. I was able to hold off for a few months but soon broke down and bought one at a local shop. It is hands down my favorite color. So far nothing else even come close in my mind. I say go for whatever looks best to you. There are plenty of options!!

My strat is Lake Placid Blue with a pearloid pickguard, maple neck. I guess that makes it my favorite. It's ten years old, and the polyurethane has had a chance to age and amber a little, giving it bluish teal look. It's a different enough shade that I can tell a difference from the brand new Lake Placid Blue strats hanging at the guitar shop.

Then again, my signature below tells all :)
