you can, but it requires irreversible modification to both the body and neck of your guitar. you have to rout a bigger hole in the body and take a chunk out of the neck for the locking nut.

I think you would be better off getting a floyd equipped strat rather then hacking up an non-floyd strat, just my opinion.

thats why id rather go with locking tuners and an lsr roller or graphite nut

you would still have to route the body. the floyd rose is not a drop-in replacement for the strat bridge.

I've been gas'in for a Fender Strat with a Floyd for about 2 years now. Can't wait until I finally fupp the trigger on it.

Sterwart McDonald has templates you can order and to the cut outs your self but it's not a simple job.

it is if you know what you're doing and have the right tools. floyd roses are really fun, but i can't see them being all that practical. i guess if you have a spare strat lying around, go for it.

Floyd Strats, when they do appear on Ebay or in used guitar stores, usually go quite cheap as they are not considered desirable Fenders. You are better off getting one rather than butchering a "normal" Strat - unless you kind find a project guitar and/or start with a donor/spares set (as I have for my project).
