After experimenting on my LP with series/parallel possibilites, i bet it would sound great on a Fender/Strat. Has anyone setup a guitar that way? Ive played Am Dlx Strats with N/M and M/B series options, but never heard of a guitar with N/M/B series. Im curious about running all 3 pickups in series, but also curious about the neck and bridge in series (already have a switch to add the neck pup in any setting) would it be overkill the have one guitar hooked up with switches for both (master series and neck/bridge series)?

Hi benjamin: I have an HSS Strat with the S1 switch. That permits neck and middle to be joined in series and connected in parallel to the humbucker. I like that three pickup sound: it is big and fat and meaty.

Come to think of it, I can also select neck and one coil of the bridge in series, simultaniously connected in parallel to the middle. Also interesting, though thinner in sound to the other.

The setup doesn't permit all three to be connected in series though. Dunno what that would be like - but someone here probably will!
