So has anyone heard of any great deals this year for Black Friday? I know MF is giving 10% off Fender products, but I'm sure there are better deals out there. Just wondering.

Ha Ha, In America Black Friday has nothing to do with Those Australian Bush Fires. Black Friday Here is the day after our Thanksgiving holiday, in which our retail stores usually have crazy Door Buster Deals. The stores open up extra early, like 4am, and have ridiculous prices on things. Laptop computers for 200 dollars, Cheap TVs, $2 DVDs, etc, whatever the hot items are for the year they usually are a lot cheaper on Black Friday. Its called Black Friday because it is the day of the year that the retailers can finally be in the "black" financially

guitar center has 10% off coupons for all fender products through sunday on their website. the 15% off coupons they sent in the mail a week ago excludes fender. i will go see what they have at my local store...maybe something will come home with me.

guitar center use to have 20% off on all gear on black fridays. those days are gone...i guess.

Thanks for explaining Yogi. Sometimes I forget to explain myself.

If I had any money, I was thinking of adding the KWS Strat to my collection for 10% off. I saw a great vid on it where Kenny explains it himself and completely sold me on it.

...but as I'd mention. Now is definitely not the time.

Check out samash.com $50 off over $225 plus 10% off. Check this out for example:

Squier CV 50 $349.99
-10% $30
- $50

not bad at all and better than Musician's Friend, Sweetwater, and Guitar Center.

I am debating this deal:

Super Champ XD $299.99
-$50
-10% 25

Well , I finally broke down and got a Deluxe Reverb for 840.Couldnt pass it up .Now I am probably gonna unload my Blues Deluxe to justify it.It makes the Blues Deluxe the odd man out now.Gotta blues jr, blues deluxe , deluxe reverb and 59 bassman.I might keep the blues jr around just for bringing to practices. What do you think?Im thinking the blues deluxe is the odd man out.

I don't know if it's the same at every GC but the store in downtown Manhattan has the American Standard Strat tagged at $994. And they said they'll take the 15% off of that sale price so the final price, with the Fender SKB case, would be $845 (plus sales tax). Sounded pretty good to me.

15% off one item is the best deal I have heard of. That was at GC. I thought with the poor economy there might be a better deal out there.

I hit MF for a CV 50's Strat for my nephew, they matched Sam Ash. Now I need to find a way to justify a Tele Deluxe Ash for myself.
