My new (to me) strat

I picked up a mexican strat locally. I was looking for a H/S/S strat that I could upgrade pickups on with a high output humbucker, and maybe some american strat single coils in the mid and neck. Anyway, I was drawn to this guitar because I haven't seen many Fenders with a flame top. I also love the nitro finished neck. It was manufactured in '03-'04. Could it be a limited edition or something?

I really like the flame also. It's on the light side but defenatly noticable. Here's a better pic of the top.
