Rorys guitar is worth every penny they ask for them. All you have to do is play one and Im sure you will agree.

My brother ordered one when they came out and let me play it for several weeks. This is a FANTASTIC sounding guitar and the neck is unbelievable. You are getting basically as close as possible a 1961 Strat at a bargain price. Who here wouldn't pay $2800 for a vintage Strat... you can't.... so this is the next best thing !!

I have played one and they are fantastic. However, if I paid five grand for it a year ago and it dropped in price by two grand in a year one would feel a little taken.

Hat's off to the folks who have been saving to get one, they're stoked on the price drop.

As a rule I loathe relic guitars but if that has anywhere near the tone of Rory's (and I could afford it)I'd have one in a heartbeat. The sound of his Strat on They Don't Make 'em Like You Any More on'"Tatoo"is enough to turn any Les Paul/SG player to a Stratophile instantly.

Yeah, well I have.

Instrumental Music; $4,899.00
Sam Ash; $3,999.00
American Musical; $3,999.00
Sweetwater; $3,599.00

Let's not forget about tax.

The strats are killer. However, the considerable price drop is definitely a bummer to someone who purchased it for top dollar a year ago. I guess it's just me but I would feel pissed if my specialty strat dropped in value a year later.
