Based on your requirements:

In the humbucking category, I'd probably go with a DiMarzio Cruiser neck model for the neck position, a Cruiser bridge model for the middle position and a DiMarzio Chopper for the bridge position.

In the single coil category, I'd probably and coincidentally go with Dimarzios too: A True Velvet bridge model in the neck, a Red Velvet model in the middle and an FS-1 in the bridge.

Of note: I've noticed that the vast majority of Crate amps, although built like tanks are predominantly midrange oriented. I was thinking that maybe putting in a different brand speaker MAY help open up the frequency response a bit. As to which brand, maybe a Celestion or believe it or not, a Carvin. YMMV.
