alright im sure this is on the forum somewhere but i dont feel like searching and want new opinions. who do you guys believe is the greatest guitar player that ever lived? btw i say hendrix. also who is the most influential band of all time?

It's like asking what's the best beer, what's the best car, and who is the hottest girl. Ask 100 people and you'll get 100 answers.

Even among my favorites guitar players, none is "better" than the others. They're all perfect in their own ways, and for very different reasons.

I was expecting that to tbe first answer, after all we can all agree on that and if not then you're just "hating".

The thing about the guitar, is, NO ONE ever perfects it, no one ever plays it the best, there is nothing to perfect because it is always evolving.
