Then figure out a way to get one of each!

But just in my opinion, I say TELECASTER!! 8)

Sounds like you'll have to get both. Get the one now and the other later. Then you'll be set for anything!!

The necks are virtually the same. Put a blender pot in your Strat and you'll get that Tele sound via pickups #1 and #3. Or to appease the purists, it will be close enough to that Tele sound. Further, you can get all three pickups on at one time if desired with a blender pot. And with the money you save, you can buy yet another Strat! It's a win/win situation!!

I'd go for both if you can pull it off financially. I've got a couple of Strats and I would love to have a Tele be my next one.

Dude - you're asking on the wrong board. C'mon over to the Tele board to get our totally biased opinion! :D

GET THE TELE!!!

buy 'em both! Simple way to end it. Love the rock and blues? Still need a country twang? Thought about slide guitar? Well, buy 'em both. That's my plan!

The wise strategy is to get the Strat first and Tele second or on the other hand Tele first and Strat second or ... or ... anyhow get tham both and in multiples. Just joking

On the serious note, that is how it goes, you will eventualy accumulate all of them and plus some other brands.

I have one of each and couldn't imagine being limited to just one or the other. After I play one of them for a few consectuive days, when I pull out the other, it is a brand new fresh experience. It's like having two wonderful beautiful women at your beckoned call (luckily my wife doesn't see these posts). :)

Hi Stratocaster47

I agree with the gang, wouldn't it be nice to have both and when

the mood strikes you.... just look over and say..

Well, will it be the strat or tele today.

I have a 2006 highway one , but you cannot ,ever, avoid getting G.A.S.

every once in awhile.

Take care

JASTER :) :) :)
