I own a Jimmie Vaughan which I like alot, The SRV is a very nice guitar but you had better play one first. Don,t know anything about the Blackmore strat. He is one of my fav guitar players.

Regarding the Blackmore Strat: Some players love the whole scalloped neck thing, some don't. Realistically speaking, you can pretty much forget about playing chords on it. So, if rhythm isn't your thing and lots of fast soloing is, it could be a contender. However, with the Blackmore Strat, it is wired so that only the neck and bridge pickup work and even at that, only separately. The pickups are also extremely powerful. Therefore, you will be denied several traditional Strat sounds and have to consider if you'll like these mere two sounds the guitar offers.

As to the SRV, I think it has a very stiff feel and a very dark sound. And like any other US made Signature model, it is grossly overpriced.

The JV Strat just makes the most sense to me. It is a most comfortable and nicely toneful Strat and the price is right.

As always, YMMV.

I have an Am Dlx and previously owned many standards ... I usually prefer you're usual models than artist versions......save the Robin Trower version....

If you mean in general, it would be time for you to go to a larger Fender dealership, play all the different models and then you would be in the best position to answer your own question.
