Hello guys....i have few questions here, could you guys help me..

i have this Fender Strat AM STD 99, the fender logo (just like early 90s) and serial number are in the front of the headstock..when i see my friend fender strat AM STD 99 the fender logo is different (just like new am std) and serial number is in the back of the headstock.

could you guys explains this to me?

Its nothing more sinister than your guitar neck being made before the transition to the newer logo. Nothing to worry about at all. Theres always a years leeway with serial no' dating. Your guitar serial being ZN9 could infact be a late 98.

The only really accurate way to date manufacture is to look at the heel/pocket of the neck. Or contact customer services. Theres nothing unusual about this, so you dont need to worry.

on the neck pocket it say jun 1999...it means my guitar neck was made in jun 99 right?

my guitar serial number is N993057

i've seen the 98 AM STD Fender strat has the newer logo of fender..why my guitar have old style of fender logo?
