Post subject: 70's AVRI Serial # question.

I have a 2006 or 2007 70's AVRI Serial # V006XX. This might seem like a stupid question but does the V006 mean 2006? Some of the serial # over the years don't make any sense. Thanks for your help.

The "V" means it's a Vintage RI.

Thanks for the reply. I knew the V was for vintage, just trying to figure out if the 6 meant 2006? Thanks again though.

Theres no way to date a VRI instrument without removing the neck.
