Just wanted to say Hi to you all,as you can see I'm a new convert to Fender after having more than a few mid to top end guitars, I finally took the plunge and tried a mexican upgrade strat, could'nt put it down, I got one in white, the only other guitar I have now is a PRS,I'mgoing to leave it as it is for a while but any recommendations and help on what to upgrade on it i.e pickups etc would be very appreciated, I play various styles of music rangeing from clapton to slipnot.
Regards
Steve :)

Welcome to the forums. I myself am still new here as well. You can learn so much here as there are a good many very knowledgable folks here that really know their stuff. Just to let you know, we all like pics of guitars/gear on here as well :D .

Welcome stevechet, There is a lot of info here. Most of the people here will give their honest opinion on pickups etc., but they will tell you it's just that, their opinion. My choice of pickups may not be yours. Best way is to try and hear them.
Again welcome.

Welcome to the forum...As far as the pickups go the best thing to do is a lot of research..Unless i have full set that im wanting to install ..I usually replace one pickup at a time starting with the bridge pick up then the neck then the mid .That way i can custom tailor my tone once i find a starting point with the bridge pickup..

Welcome.. A great bunch of folks here... As for Pup's. to each his/her own. Fo me, I do not tinker with my guitars. Like to leave them un-molested as it were... I buy them for what they are and how they sound..

Just my.02!!
