Hi there robt8500

How are you doing today?

Yes, Dale became the "Father of Heavy Metal"

as quoted from "Guitar Player Magazine".

First person to truly go from playing a rather "quiet style amp of the

day" to the new amp, Leo Fender designed for him, that was considerably

more powerful and louder in volume.

Have a great day!

JASTER :) :) :)

hey jaster, I've got one for you!

I was born March 5, 1970 in Queens, New York
My parents are John and Gail, but they have divorced
I have been in drug rehab for 6 years
I recorded one of the most popular rock/alternative albums called "Californication"
In 2003, I was named #18 in Rolling Stones "Top 100 Greatest Guitars of All Time"
I recently released an album called "The Empyrean"

Who am I?

Hi gang

Answer to Question # 2 was Dick Dale.

Question # 3

I was born in 1941.

My strat was given to me by Cliff Richards.

I am responsible for influencing David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler

in their decisions to buy a Fender Stratocaster.

Who am I ?

Take care

JASTER :) :) :)

Hi Cherokee747

I was going to also ask if this person is alive today..... but I

will go ahead and guess based on 1936 that it might be...

Buddy Holly,

Take care.

JASTER :) :) :)
