Not a fan of Whit strats. Only white guitars I like at all are Gretsch's.

I have a Black/RW Squier and a Black/RW G&L Legacy so I gotta go with that.

But I prefer more lively colours. Reds, Oranges, Blues, Greens

Sienna Sunburst is the mandatory color for a standard!

Personally I'd go for the black/maple combination. I just love the look of that combination.

I like butterscotch blonde and maple, but from your options, I'd choose white and maple.

But I harbor no regrets.. :P
In 1996 I bought my first AM Standard..
It has grown with me somewhat over the years.. ;)
It started it's life as a 50th Anniversary Lonestar..
And just seems to get better with age.. :D

Hope you may enjoy your's,, as I have mine.. ;)

Traveler- OMG that is a nice strat. It looks like one of my all time favs- the strat plus.. I have to ask- is the fender/floyd you have, is that aftermarket or is it original on the lonestar?

Black with Rosewood... all the way.

I added the Fender Floyd about two years into the Lonestar.
The LSR Roller nut and locking tuners were a natural progression.
Theres now even a Trembucker in the spring cavity.
My next adventure was a set of EMG active pickups, DG-20 Model.

I am a Floyd - Gilmour fan.. ;)
It works very well.
I look at her as a Plus Plus Plus Model :D

Since I already have a black with maple Strat I would pick the white with maple. I actually like the white with maple better than my black one, but I got a great deal on my black one because it was the last 2007 at the store and they were making room for the 2008's.

I voted for Black/Rosewood but Olympic White/Maple is right at the top, too.

I play a black on black with a maple neck and it would take a lot to change my mind. 8)
