So over the years ive looked and looked and cant find a strat like mine. Ive checked the serial # and its a 90. Ive never seen my model though with black pickups and am trying to figure out if they are the origional or if someone changed them (bought it used around 94). Its a sunburst model with a tortoise pg and black pickups. Most ive seen have white pickups. Any help appreciated.

I have the 8 page 1990 Fender "Guitars and Basses" catalog. Believe it or not, there were only 6 versions of the Stratocaster(Std, '57 RI, '62 RI, Plus, Deluxe Plus, and Ultra). None of them are shown in anything but white pickguard and white pickups.
