Hello,
I need help .
I am changing strings and I can't get the High E string pushed through the back. The ball end of the Fender 150 won't come out .
Since the string is so flimsy, it has become all curled at the base from trying to push it through.
What do I do , how do I do it.
Ronald

have you tried pushing it through the top with something about the size of a toothpick? if it is REALLY jammed in there, don't fret, use an old wire coat hanger.... be careful.

hope this helps

also depending on how that string is set up (intonation). you may need to relax the saddle by bringing it closer to the hole, turn screw (back of saddle) clockwise to access hole.

I usually use the end of the Low E string to push it thru if it gets stuck.

Thanks Guys,
I made it with the help of the little Allen wrench to set the intonation.
Yes , I am new to this .
I am use to pulling them out on an acoustic.
Regards,
Ronald

I've never seen a ball end string get stuck like that. I wonder if the hole in the block is just a bit too small.

Its more the odd string's end is slightly oversized. Its happened to me a few times over the years. I use an allen key or a matchstick to poke it back out with.
