65 transition decal, fat 50s pickups, allparts chunky neck, all nitro, it started life as a black highway one. I sprayed over the the black.

Hi tfunk182: looks like nice work - not always so easy with a metallic finish. Cool!

Ocean Turquoise in nitro, huh? Do you mind telling us where you got the paint from? There's people round here often asking for sources for that kind of thing.

Cheers - C

Nice guitars. Looks like a great color, but I bet it looks even better in person.

I guess those metallic colors look much better in hand than in pictures ... I'm sure its beauty .. I had a 50th anniversary candy cola strat a few months back and the color was awesome ...
Have fun
Cheers

It looks like you did a beautiful job with that re-finish. Do you mind describing how you did the job. I've been thinking of doing a re-finish myself with some re-ranch products and I was wondering if you had any tips on the process.

I somehow missed where you said you sprayed over the black! I'm still interested in specifics on how you did the job though.

the decal was already on the neck when I got it. I just sprayed the color over the black, then 2 cans of clear, wet sand and polish. It's really not hard just time consuming. :)
If you're interested hop over to www.reranch.com/reranch
it's a great board.
