Can anyone shed some light on serial #: M02016094?

I tried looking it up on this website's support section but didn't see anything helpful for this serial #

Thanks!

Well M followed by 8 digits, non of them a letter is a bit suspect. It should be M (then letter denoting decade, N for Nineties, Z for zero's 01, 02 etc) then 5 or 6 numbers.

Not one I've come across before.

If it helps at all, the body is a hardtail. Would posting pics help?

I'm not finding anything on it either. It is an odd serial number. My suggestion would be to contact Fender at consumerrelations@fender.com

Is that not a part number in the cavity? The yellow sticker!

Thats what I was thinking too with the marking in the neck pocket, but the serial # kinda threw me off, I didn't think that a WD would have it like that.

After talking with someone with more knowledge than I have. It may be a Fender Robert Cray body. Contact Fender as I said above and send them the number off the bar code in the control cavity.

That is a fender mexican hardtail body. It looks legit to me too. The MO is supposed to be partnered with a neck with the same number on. Its a specific part number used in construction, not a catalogue part no' or a serial no'.

Looks quite legit to me. Do warmoth do the neck pocket circle?

Note the part no' sticker has a clearcoat over it. Its a bit of a length to go to just to fake a MIM body.

Look at the position of the pickguard screw between the neck and middle pickups on the bass side. Then look at this:
