Nice little bit of photo journalism!

I hope you didn't bang up the finish with that stop tail piece.

Nice Lp man and I'm sure it sounds great. Were you able to get a good deal on it. I couldn't help but notice the price tag.But then again I've never priced out those guitars. I'm sure its worth every penny. Congradulations on the new ax. The slide show was a nice touch.

If you took notice ,in his first pic, he's holding his passport to the Platinum Room at Guitar Center. 8)

Hey guys, thanks for all the compliments. I will try to answer all the questions you've asked thus far. First off, Guitar Center is really really cool. Especially here in California, they are large, and fairly well stocked.

The PRS you see photos of was so nice. The neck was amazing, and the craftsmenship was seamless. It was a bit to gothic for my tastes.

I was told the neck was a 50's vri.

The pickups are 490r and 498t which were designed by gibson in the 60 for the emerging UK rock gods who demanded more mids and highs.

I didn't scratch the top with the bridge/string guide when taking the strings off. But that is only due to luck. I now know that both pieces of the bridge are held to the guitar, only by the strings.

I brought a 10% off coupon that I received in the mail the morning I went shopping. So.. I think, I got a good deal. I am still in shock!

He ought to post it on the bulletin board you find in the entry way of every Guitar Center. :P
