Does anyone know what effects Clapton is using in the Blind Faith album, especially on the song, In The Presence of the Lord? I'm perplexed.

I saw that concert in the Seattle Coliseum, in the 60s (the Year the album came out) It had Delaney and Bonnie as openers with Eric playing in that band also. As for tone that building was horrible-the first concert I saw there was The Beatles on their 2nd tour of the states again sound was dreadful! But in those days who knew any better! I was just happy to see my heroes up close, and you could at least recognize what song they were playing. But Eric was playing thru what I thought was the same Amp that was on the cover of the album with the band(not the cover that was banned with the young topless teenager) It think it was a blond covered-old 60s Bandmaster or Dual Showman. Didn't matter on the song you mentioned it all came together when Slowhand kicked on his Vox Wah Wah for the solo and it was pure magic. Eric knows how to get his tone out of any medium, he does it by digging in hard with his pick, and of course his perfected vibrato which he borrowed from BB King-I believe anyway! If I remember right he played a Tele with a Strat neck for part of the show and a Red 335. It was a Classic performance from a group that burned out way too fast. They were advertised as a "Super Group" on the radio spots and they were! I miss those days. Thanx for the memories hadn't thought of that in years. PhilVis
