I have a candy apple red headed American Standard LE also..I have never seen another one until now.

I purchased new in 95 in Freeport Illinois, when my friend backed out of selling me his 40th anniversary model.

I have a 1995 Limited like you are describing I have a old thread about it here on the forums. THe last post has the info I got from Fender on my guitar but it also shows the different colors that were done in 95 and how long each color was produced.

Freeport, Illinois, eh? It's rare to see my old hometown mentioned anywhere. Talk about a flashback. :)

Back on topic... I'm not a big fan of matching color headstocks but I don't think I could resist a Candy Apple Red combo. Surf Green and Daphne Blue yes... CAR no.
