anyone out there who has tried one of these? kinda wondering on investing in one!

how is it in comparison to the 60's classic player?
have owned a classic player before, and i must say it was an ass-kicking strat.

thanks

If you ever owned/played a 70's Strat, you might be a bit dissapointed, but if not, it's a decent sounding guitar IMO.

If you want a classic MIM strat I feel you'd be better of paying a little extra and getting the Classic Player 50's or 60's strat, They are much better quality both in build and sound. Anyway try them out and see what you think if you want.

Frankly, I think the 70's RIs blow away the 70's originals. Notwithstanding, I don't find either particularly desirable. YMMV.
