I have acquired a 2006 deluxe strat.(my 1st fender) I'm having a problem when playing. The palm of my hand keeps pressing on the tremelo area. No matter what I try I always finish up with my right hand in that position. Are there bridge covers available or is there an easy way to disengage or lock out the tremelo mechanism?

Yes. All you need to do is remove the float on the bridge (make the bridge flush with the body. This can be done by screwing in the claw screws and/or adding a trem spring. Do a search on 'float' and you will become an expert on this concept.
