Hi guys,

How are you, this is my first post, hope you can help me.
I bought a used guitar from a friend, but he can't tell me the model of it(his father offered him years ago, and he quickly quit guitar playing).

It's a Fender Strat HSS with licensed Floyd Rose made in mexico, colour sunburst.
Serial Number is MZ3092755
Guitar dater project website tells me that it was made between 2003-2004 (i think the model with floyd rose got discontinued)
I don't know if it's a fat strat or deluxe fat strat or just a standard with floyd rose!!! and to know the specs of the guitar i need to know the model, for example, what kind of pick ups do i have? I need to know this stuff. Help

Kind regards, Langostino

Welcome to the forum. Usually the term "Fat Strat" usually refers to the fact you have a humbucker in the bridge position. A "Double Fat" Strat woud be one with a HH configuration. I believe you have the Standard Stratocaster with Licensed Floyd Rose and HSS configuration, but without pics, it is hard to tell. This years models have the standard (usual) Fender pickups.

Good news, Fender has restarted the Floyd Rose Strat to their line-up this year. Here is what on this years models:
