Hi BillyBeep:

OK - let's bring out the big guns. Here's my Am Series Strat, ash under Sienna Sunburst, parchment color plastic parts:

Those are beauties. I've always wanted a Sienna Strat with a maple neck. I can't find one around here though. Seen a couple but with RW necks.

Jedi Knight: That grain on the body is amazing

Ceri: Where was that pic taken? I'm a military history buff.

Hi Russ. Ah well, these days that is the Imperial War Museum in London, just round the corner from my wife's office, as it happens. Unfortunately, the building was undergoing restoration when that pic was taken, so what you are actually seeing is a photo of itself covering the scaffolding.

The building has a certain notoriety because a couple of hundred years ago it was the Royal Bethlem Hospital for the mentally ill - more famously known as Bedlam. Which is where that word came from.

Anyway. The idea of that photograph was... guns and roses. Of course.

Cheers - C

Wow, some nice looking guitars in this thread.

I guess they do save the best grainy bodies for the see-through finishes.

Anybody want to do a swap?

That has got to be one of the best finish's in the catalogue at the moment, aside from red ofcourse (Jk).

Lovely guitars.

The Sienna Sunburst is my favorite of all the Fender colors. Unfortunately, the American Deluxe did not come in that color, when I bought it.
