I have what I think is a 2001 texas special. Its a surf green ? with sparkle in it like a candy apple color.

How can I verify?
What mkes this guitar different?

Upon investigation there was a strat called the texas special. Loosely based on a 57. Heres a ebay listing from a very reputable seller here in the UK.
