I just bought a Mexi HSS and am not overly thrilled with the stock pickups. I was thinking SD SH-5 with SD Cool Rail at the neck and SD Vintage Noiseless at the mid. I am also upgrading to a white Pearloid PG and to schaller locking tuners.

Again, this is my first Fender and I want to set it up right, need help from any pros out there. I primarily play Classic Rock to Heavy Metal.. I also play some "D" so I am wondering if I should just role with a Floyd Rose and get the "D" tuna or wait on that.

As I am typing I wonder why I just didn't buy a Deluxe to start with..LOL
