Nice work! I think the color of the screws are just fine too. I just got a sunburst Highway One HSS this month and I'm dying to replace the white pick guard for a tortuous. If it can be done, I'd like to keep the OEM single-coils and just swap the black covers for creme. I'd like to get a black and creme humbucker to replace the pup on the bridge. It's not because I don't like the sound because I do. I've always loved the spaciousness of Fender designed instruments. The HSS looks busy because of that hunk of black real estate above the bridge. So a black and creme pickup can create the illusion of spaciousness. And of course, knobs and tips in matching creme.

Next payday :)

That's my all-time favorite look for a Sunburst. The screws looks fine. If you went with black tuners and bridge, then you might think to change them. My Hamer looks almost identical (Rosewood fret-board). Love it man.. Looks killer.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm real happy with the look. I ordered a Fender tweed case for it today. Now if I could just channel some of SRV's talent ...

I always wanted a Sunburst in tweed case lol. I got the money from an amp I sold today on craigslist, for double what I paid.

Looks real nice Chet. I'll definitely be thinking about it LOL. I'm not sure if I like the contrast of the stainless or not. I need to pull the guard next time I change the strings anyway, because I want to shield it and I forgot to order the tape.

Lookin' good, man!

Sexy... but w/ a great outlaw gunslinger vibe too.

A great combo, imho.
