Thanks. I was just wondering because that deal on the Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster is quite nice. I almost bought one used three years ago for $550. I might have to jump on this one.

At those prices I'd be surprised if they were flawless.

So is Fender discontinuing a lot of guitars? JV Strat, Knopfler, SRV, etc... According to MF they are. Wonder what that means?

TGS, you missed the SRV a few weeks ago at 999.Wouldnt be suprised to see it again. The roadhouse deluxe is a descent guitar and I think it has the 12" radius, but too bad it only comes in maple.

I wasn't really that tempted because I don't have $999. I do have $399 though, but oh well. I can probably find a used one for that price. I really want a JV Strat because I wouldn't really have to modify anything on it and I really like the V neck. But I was trying to save up for a Fender Coronado anyway, so in a way it's a good thing they sold out. I'll just stick with my MIM Standard Strat and my Squier.

And I can't imagine why they'd discontinue the white JV's. I mean, that's sort of the main color he's known for playing, so why get rid of the most well known and popular color? And the SRV seems to be one of the most popular signature models that Fender makes. I don't get it.

I think some people are making assumptions that all of the blowout priced signiture guitars are being discontinued.

The guy at musician's friend used the word discontinued, so that's why I'm confused.

I wish that MF would/could ship FMIC products across the border. Those are fantastic deals.

I think I need to find an American pen pal.

Hi Mike,

If I were in spending mode
I'd spring for a Red Nashville Tele for $399.
Of course last weeks GE Smith was a heck of a deal.

One of these days.

Cheers.
