What model Gibson? Can we see pics of that, too?

Also ... I love your Deluxe. The sunburts on Deluxes are a cut above either the MIA & MIM Stds, which are beautiful.

sure but its just a Gibson LP Studio in mahogony. i will post some pics soon. i guess i just thought noone would want to see gibbys on a fender forum.
Why would you think that? Most of us like well made guitars no matter what the name on the headstock is.

That is a sharp guitar for sure!

I just picked up my 1st Strat yesterday.
Model 170083, 1 of 40, American Std, 782 candy tangerine, alder body, maple modern "C" shape, matching candy tangerine gloss headstock face, Special DSOTM wiring etc... Setup/Copy of the dark side of the moon strat except candy tangerine.
The picture doesn't do it justice. METALFLAKE city in the finish.

wow both of the guitars posted are lovely. Is the red one customshop? I thought it was only customshop that were limited in such small numbers?

The Tangerine one is a factory special run of 40 units, commissioned by the Willis Music Company. One is staying with the company and the other 39 are for sale. They just came in a few days ago 10/28/09 or so. They are really nice. I bought two of them so there are/were 37 remaining (going to put one up and never play it). Plus a highway one for my Son. His is black with satin finish and it's really nice also. Of course, I haven't seen an American Strat that wasn't nice lol.

Thanks for the compliment.
