I have some new Fender Schaler locking tuners to install on my Bullet strat. Yes Yes it's a bullet why? Well I have a great new all steel bridge trem assembly to install to replace the pot metal bullet trem. The bullet tuners are horrible.

Here is my question. the holes in the headstock of the bullet are too small. the dimensions for the new tuners call for a 9.96 mm hole for the outer shaft. I am guessing a 10 mm hole straight through would be correct. The schalers have a 10 mm screw in bushing from the front.

Anyone gone this way before?

nope sorry, but with care and the proper tools you can drill the holes to a larger dimension.
