Yes, I bought many guitars over the years. This is the one I believe that was made for me. It's a Special Edition 2008. I am surprised I can't find any information on it.

2008 Mahogany HSS Fender Stratocaster (American)

I bought it new for 1200.00. Since then it has gone up to 1600.00.
Not sure why? Any help with this would be appreciated.

I bought one too and I feel the same - it has all the "bell" tones of a normal strat, the growl of a Gibson SG, the Quality of an American Deluxe, and so much character and personality!

Everything I could hope for when my guitar gods are Hendrix, Clapton, EVH, Mayer, Buddy Guy, Angus Young, Joe Perry......

It's my first guitar and I wanted it to be special. I'll post a few pics soon.

I did a TON of research before I settled on this one - the fine folks at Guitar Center in Nashua, NH were probably sick of me by the time I got around to spending my money!
