Im getting a new mexican fat strat soon and i was wondering if a seymour duncan pearly gates would fit with the string spacing? I want that pickup fo the bridge, and 2 tex mex singles coil for the neck and middle. i want a coil tap for the humbucker and a switch that turns on the neck pickup so in position 2, i can use all the pickups! what do you think?

There is a Fender-spaced version of the Pearly Gates, and it's a great choice for a fat Strat.

Was it the Roadhouse that had a PG in the bridge? The Lonestar? Whichever it was, that was one of my fave factory guitars.

I love strats, i just want something diffrent and original. because the body will be lake placid blue, with a maple neck. i will be getting a black pickguard too!

One thing to watch out for is that some humbuckers mount using 2 screws, some 3 screws. You want your humbucker and pickguard to match!
