My bridge began to pull up as I tuned my .010s up. What should i do to keep it flush on the guitar or is it ok to play it with the bridge up and out like that?

I imagine you're replacing lighter strings, like .009s. Your new strings apply more tension, so you'll have to offset the increased tension by cranking down on the claw screws, which are accessible from the rear. Do it evenly, say a quarter turn at a time. Stop when the bridge plate is where you want it. You may have to put an additional spring in place. You can get those through any Fender authorized dealer.

Forgot to mention: Tune to pitch every time you crank on the claw screws. Only when at pitch can you judge the height of the bridge plate properly.

You will probably need to perform the other setup steps after the bridge setup if you changed the string size.

Add more springs to the tremolo on the back side or block it...
