Im installing texas specials in my left handed strat. Didnt think about the staggered poles. Anyone know if thats going to be a problem? It looks to me the E and A should be normal height the D and G are higher and the B and high E are real low. But if you put them in a left handed guitar E and D poles are in the B and high E spot. Any help would be nice. I think i might be making a big deal out of nothing, but im not sure.
Thanks

Hendrix did not flip his pups. Just something to consider.

Have you finished putting them in?

How do they sound?

Can you notice any affects from the reversed around stagger?

A lot of guys now consider the Texas Specials to be "too hot." The Low Ouput pickups have gained a lot of favor!

The Texas Specials can usually be "fixed" by lowering them ... a lot.

I believe B is the shortest slug then next size up E,A,E and then the tallest D,G

Agree with that assessment. CS Fat 50's are cool.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
