Today is my B day and my wife bought me a Korean fender Strat. Well I think its a Strat. Any way I have a few questions about this guitar. I have looked at many Strates but I have not yet come across one like this. First it has 24 frets, something I haven't seen before and the body and neck are all one piece. It sounds great but I am beginner guitarst and I might not have a good ear. It also has 3 seymour duncan pickups a 5 way selector switch and a volume and a tone knob. The SN# is 04052155. There not letters in front on the numbers.

The HM strats had 24 frets, but I don't know of any other model.

I did some more looking and finaly found some info and some pics of my Strat. I searched for HM Strats and eventualy I found one for sale on ebay. Thanks JasonSD. It seems to be a Set Neck Stratocaster Deluxe that is made in Korea. The pictures look just like mine and the pictures are the first and only that I have found on the internet.

Now I wounder if the Quality of Korean Fenders are of high standerds. Anyway the guiter sounds great!

I have never played one but color wise they offer some great colors I have never seen on any other models. I wonder why that is.. I have seen three guys on Harmony Central with your ax and they only had good things to say about them.
