Good Morning little school girl..Johnny Lang/Johnny Winter
Born under a bad sign..Several
Stack shot billy...The Black Keys
Sunshine for your love...Cream/Clapton
Cocaine..Clapton
Rock n Roll Hoochie Coo ...Rick Derringer/Johnny Winter
Blue Suede Shoes...Several
Stone Crazy..Buddy Guy
Mustang Sally..Several
Boom Boom Boom ...Several
La Grange...ZZtop
Mississippi Queen ....Mountain

These are not only all very easy songs but the first set of the band i play in set list...Each and every one is a strong blues or blues based rock song..They are also great songs for easy improvisation..I would first learn the Rhythm then go back and learn at least one solo line from each song then find a improved solo for each song...In my opinion that is the best way to learn..

Im not sure how well you play yet ( I was self taught and it took me 5 years before I joined my first band) But im going to guess.

So with that in mind, If you want to play chords changes I would say DO NOT try anything with Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow) Ritchie really doesnt play chords much. AC/DC, Kiss, Accept,Judus Priest anything around that is good.

If you are looking to have your fingers all over the fretboard (and changeing from the neck to bridge pick-ups many times during a song) then Ritchie Blackmore is the way to go.

but really the best bet is for you to find the music you like...play them you will be more into it (and that will help out alot)

Jimmie

There's also a very raw version played by the Grateful Dead with Pigpen on vocals and harp. Thats my favorite version. I believe they released a live album recorded at the Fillmore East in 1969 that had that cover. It also has a cover of Hey Jude if I remember correctly.

One of my faves is "Roadhouse Blues" by the doors. Also "Cold Shot ' by SRV is doable for someone with not alot of experience. It will teach you how to do the Texas Shuffle.
