I am wondering if anyone has any details on the White Blonde color on the 57 RI. What I am wondering is, will this color change as time goes..meaning turning more of a yellowish/true blonde. I saw an early 50's tele, that was the classic blonde color.. once broken down, i was amazed to see the parts of the body that were not exposed "appeared to be the exact same white blonde" color offered on the 57 RI. I was told this would only happen with nitro finish (which the 57 RI have) and is due to oxidation.

Does anyone know about this color? I am in the market for a 57 RI and not a fan of "white" however if the white blonde will age to a yellowish hugh... i am going with that over the standrad black or sunburst. I have searched the web and really can not find anything regarding this color (maybe because it is rcently offered again??) any opinions/help would be great... Thanks

Yes, white blonde or "Mary Kaye" will age and turn yellow over time (if it is nitrocellulose paint). If you want the off white color, why don't you go for the honey blonde?
