Cool pic. What stratocaster is that? I don't think is voodoo stratocaster, is It?
I think that SRV strat was his first "serious" instrument but not the first one.

I remember reading somewhere that when JM got serious about music he felt he needed to buy a proper instrument and bought a SRV strat and swapped the pickguard... don't recall if it was his first strat though.

It actually is a Squier, which was J's first real electric. he used that while playing in Villanova Junction. he got the SRV after graduating HS, and working for 15 months in a gas station.

I'm hoping to once he grows older so there is a bio to write! lol I do know more than most people do about the man, not to brag lol.
